Huge festival and theatrical hit, Latter Days is the story of 19-year-old Elder Aaron Davis, a sexually confused Mormon missionary who moves into an apartment complex in West Hollywood with a fellow group of missionaries. There he meets a neighbor, Christian, who, on a bet, tries to seduce him. When Christian exposes Davis' secret desire, Davis rejects Christian for being shallow and empty. As each boy's reality is shattered, the two are drawn into a passionate romance that risks destroying their lives. Audiences, young and old and straight and gay, have been moved to tears by this beautiful story of the transformational power of love and family.

I actually saw this film with a good friend and it was very exciting to see the opinions they had on the film when it was over and During.I do recommend it. It is so hard to find good gay themed films, and that have a okay budget to make it. So, I will suggest it for sure!!!

One of the best, heartwarming films about gay feelings and love I have seen. The film was well crafted with a great script, direction and acting. The conflict of duty to family and church contrasted with the duty to ones self exposed the myth of are we gay by nature or is it a choice. Have a hanky ready because you will cry at the ending. The bonus features of the actors and the writer/director are well worth viewing. The score was excellent and is available on CD.

Young love... First love... and the fight for love. This movie has it all. It is nice to see a film that casts a positive light on the struggles of love. I highly suggest watching the special features and deleted scenes. Excelent casting and acting. BRAVO!
