The book has a light sense of playfulness to it, amidst a well planned out backdrop of a futuristic England that hearkens back to antiquity. The sex scenes are well written and interspersed through the book in just the right spacing to make them erotic rather than excessive. I'm quite pleased I grabbed this one!
